Staying on both Sao Vicente and Santo Antao, you'll be able to take a jeep tour and music and culture tour around Sao Vicente while based in the vibrant town of Mindelo. A short ferry trip to Santo Antao where you'll be based on the coast takes you to an island of dramatic mountainous scenery. You'll have a guide and transport a day so you can either have a driver guided tour of the island or venture into the mountains for a walk.

Day 1 Arrive Sal. Flight to Sao Vicente.Transfer to Hotel Oasis Porto Grande

You will be met in Sao Vicente airport and transferred to your hotel in Mindelo (15 minutes).

Day 2 Half day music and culture tour

Half day music and culture tour with guide around Mindelo visiting the markets, art gallery, guitar workshop, harbour area.

Day 3 Full day jeep tour with lunch

Full day jeep tour with lunch, visiting Baia das Gatas, Calhau, Salagasa beach - there will be opportunities to swim and do short walkson the Vulcano Viana.

Day 4 Ferry to Santo Antao. Half day guided tour with lunch

Today you will be transferred to the ferry terminal in Mindelo for your crossing to Santo Antao (1 hour). On arrival you will go on a driver guided half day tour of part of the island before being taken to your accommodation in Ponta do Sol on the coast.

Day 5 Full day tour/walk

You have use of a driver/guide today so it's up to you whether you decide to go on a walk through the fertile valleys or the high passes or even a driving tour of the island.

Day 6 Ferry to Sao Vicente

Today you will be transferred to the ferry terminal in Porto Novo (90 minutes) for your return trip to Sao Vicente and then a transfer to your hotel in Mindelo.

Day 7 Fly to Sal

You will be transferred to the airport today (15 minutes) for your flight to Sal and then transferred to your hotel in Santa Maria (20 minutes)

Day 8 Transfer to airport. Depart Sal.

Today you will be transferred to the airport (20 minutes) for your return/onward flight.
